Umm so the trip went something like this, I'll try to keep it short.

Left Vancouver Airport at like 6:00 in the morning, got to Salt Lake City, RAN across the damn airport and we just made our connecting flight to Cancun.

First week in Cancun, stayed at a resort that was nice but the beach sucked and there were ants everywhere. The rooms were so cold and humid that every time you entered, a nice wave of mildewy mouldy air came rushing out the door to meet you.

Second week we went to a different resort down the street which was LOT nicer and consisted of people from Texas, London, France, Germany, and Mexico. First couple of days was boring and then day before my last day I meet some friends and it's all happy for the day.

Next day because mum booked this "snorkel with whale sharks" thing and I don't wanna go but they force me to go. So we all wake up at like 5:00 am get ready and stuff and get out to the ocean at like 8:00 am and because a storm's picking up the waves are really sickening and pretty much everyone's throwing up even though nobody's eaten because the tour people said they'd give us breakfast but they didn't.

Get back to the resort about 4:00 and all I had to eat was a piece of bread and cheese. The last meal before that I ate was dinner the night before that. But I'm back with my friends in the pool so its all good.

I was up from like 12:00 midnight to 3:00 in the morning with one of my friends sitting on the edge of the pool singing our lungs out to my iPod. Then at 3:00 I had to go and leave for the airport.

Stop in Houston, catch a flight to San Diego. Stay over night at the Wild Animal Park which was ok except for just generally feeling gross from not showering in 3 days which nobody really LIKES.

After that we headed to Carlsbad to see Legoland for a couple of days, that was spiffy.

Then we headed out to Vegas and stayed at the Monte Carlo. Saw Le Reve at the Wynn and the Blue Man Group at the Venetian. Both shows are like FREAKING AMAZING AND GENIUS and I highly recommend them both.

3 nights there and I'm back home where I belong

My family was originally planning to stay in Cancun the week AFTER we had actually stayed there. However if we had, Hurricane Dean would have struck and blasted right through the damn place. One of my friends that I met at the resort sent me a note saying that it was about to hit. I have to say, as much as I wanted to stay another week with my friends, thank god I left.
